El Gobierno sigue trabajando en el estudio de viabilidad técnica para ampliar la línea del tren de cercanías hasta Marbella-Estepona, un documento que estará listo el próximo otoño. Es el anuncio efectuado ayer en Málaga por la ministra de Fomento. Según Ana Pastor, lo que se está haciendo actualmente es el estudio técnico de viabilidad por parte de la empresa pública Ineco. «Como me comprometí en una reunión hace unos meses con el presidente de la Diputación, Elías Bendodo, y la alcaldesa de Marbella, Ángeles Muñoz, el estudio estará terminado en otoño, y, a partir de ahí, se verán las alternativas que planteen los técnicos», dijo.
La titular de Fomento se refirió a este proyecto como una «infraestructura que para el turismo es clave», aunque insistió en que todo está pendiente del estudio de viabilidad.
Otro proyecto al que el Gobierno no piensa renunciar es el anillo ferroviario de Antequera. Tras declarar desierto el pasado verano el concurso para explotar y construir el circuito al no concurrir ninguna empresa interesada en el proyecto, el Ministerio de Fomento ha vuelto a iniciar el proceso para sacarlo por segunda vez a licitación. Así lo aseguró ayer también la ministra Ana Pastor, con motivo de la apertura de la parte pendiente del acceso Sur al aeropuerto, una actuación que ha durado bastante más de lo previsto -siete años cuando el plazo de ejecución era sólo de tres-, y que ha exigido una inversión bastante más elevada, 61 millones frente a los 40 en los que fue adjudicada.
Pastor aseguró que el anillo ferroviario en la Vega de Antequera «es una apuesta clara y decidida por un centro de investigación en materia ferroviaria en lo que somos punteros y, por tanto, la apuesta del Gobierno y de la ministra por esta infraestructura».
La ministra fue un poco más lejos al asegurar que el Ministerio está dando toda la rapidez posible a los trámites que hay que hacer para sacar nuevamente a licitación el anillo «lo antes posible».
Según explicó, en estos momentos Fomento está pendiente de los informes de varios departamentos de Hacienda. «En cuanto los tengamos, se licita de nuevo», aseguró.
Tras quedar desierto el primer concurso, Fomento ha rebajado la carga económica y la responsabilidad de las empresas privadas que participen en el proyecto, lo que exige nuevos informes del Ministerio de Hacienda.
Participación de la industria
A pesar de reafirmar el compromiso del Gobierno con el anillo ferroviario, Pastor precisó que «es para trabajar e investigar en trenes; por tanto tiene que haber interés por los que fabrican trenes, por los que innovan en trenes y por la industria». En este sentido, declaró que lo que están intentando es que «la industria se presente al concurso».
La ministra no se atrevió sin embargo a avanzar una fecha para volver a licitar el proyecto, a la vez que tampoco se pronunció sobre las negociaciones que el Ministerio mantiene con la Unión Europea sobre el destino de los 215 millones de fondos europeos que ya estaban autorizados para afrontar la mayor parte de la inversión requerida para hacer realidad el anillo ferroviario.
En cambio sí se pronunció sobre la negativa de su Ministerio a la opción planteada por la Junta de Andalucía de usar como vía de ensayos la plataforma ya construida entre Antequera y Marchena. Pastor comentó que los técnicos y todos los informes dicen que se trata de un anillo de pruebas: «no es una recta, ni una curva, sino que es un anillo y un anillo tiene forma de anillo».
En este sentido, explicó que con esta infraestructura lo que se busca, «como se hace ahora en un anillo que hay en Estados Unidos, es probar trenes que vayan a velocidades mucho más altas que las actuales, y para todo eso necesitan unas condiciones».
Pastor, que estuvo acompañada entre otros por el alcalde de Málaga, Francisco de la Torre; el presidente de la Diputación, Elías Bendodo; el delegado de la Junta de Andalucía en la provincia, José Luis Ruiz Espejo; el subdelegado del Gobierno, Jorge Hernández Mollar, y por el presidente del PP-A, Juan Manuel Moreno, dijo sobre el acceso Sur al aeropuerto, de dos kilómetros, que se prevé que lo utilicen 25.000 vehículos cada día.
